U.S. District Court rules teen’s First Amendment rights were violated

U.S. District Court Judge Brett Ludwig issued a decision last week on September 24th declaring that Marquette County Sheriff Joseph Konrath’s threat to arrest a teenage girl over a social media post in March 2020 violated the teen’s First Amendment rights.

2021 Montello Homecoming Court

Montello Jr/Sr High School celebrates Homecoming this week with the theme of “Seasons.” The powderpuff football games will be played Wednesday night and Friday will have class competitions, along with a parade at 2:45pm.

Coloma Elementary named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School

 

On September 21st, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized Coloma Elementary School as one of 325 schools named National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021. Coloma is an elementary school in the Westfield School District.
