Marquette County to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary

Marquette County municipalities are rolling out all the stops this Fourth of July weekend as they plan to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. Montello July 3rd - Fourth of July Fireworks at dusk at the Montello City Park. Montello Little League Concessions starting at 2pm. July 4th - Fourth of July Parade starting at 3pm. Oxford Oxford’s Fourth of July celebration will take place at the park from Thursday, July 2nd through Saturday, July 4th, and will feature a food and beer stand as well as a softball tournament each day of the celebration. July 2nd - Live Music by Abby Spencer from 6pm-10pm. July 3rd - Carnival with $20 wristbands from 6pm-10pm. Live music by “The Ramble” starting at 6pm. July 4th - Volleyball tournament starting at 9am. Bags tournament registration starting at 11am with the tournament starting at noon. Junior Olympics registration starting at 10:30am with the competition starting at noon. The carnival will be open from noon until 10pm. Jenna Jane and the Knobs will be performing at 5:30pm and at 10pm will be central Wisconsin’s Best Fireworks Display! Harrisville July 4th - Harrisville will hold their annual parade downtown at 11pm, along with their tractor/truck pull also starting at 11am. Chicken dinners will be served at noon and fireworks will be held over the pond at dark. Neshkoro July 3rd - Neshkoro Community parade starts at 5pm. Come see Firetrucks, the UW Marching Band, creative floats and so much more and of course candy for your sweet tooth. A free shuttle Service from Stan- O- Genes Park to Rivers Edge Park from 4:30 -7:30 and 8:30 to 11:30. CopperBox takes the stage from 7pm to 10pm. Food and Beverages will be served. July 4th - The Neshkoro Fire Department hosts their annual Inde- pendence Day event. R U Kidding Me DJ service starts the event from 4pm to 7pm. Cherry Pie will rock you from 7pm to 11pm. Fireworks at dusk with a new look. There is a new pyrotechnician and they increased their display with the show blasting off from the middle of the millpond. Food and Beverages from 4 - gone.
