The City of Montello is proud to host its 175th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 9, featuring a full day of festivities for all ages. Community members and visitors are invited to enjoy free entertainment, local food and drink, and a grand parade through historic downtown Montello.

FREE Kids Train Rides
12:00–4:00 p.m. at Montello City Park Sponsored by the Marquette County Farm Bureau and YFA
Fireworks Display:
At dusk (~8:30 p.m.) following the “That 70’s Band” concert in Montello City Park
Live Music and
Entertainment
Including “That 70’s Band” and various performances throughout the day at the park.
Free Boat Rides on
Montello Lake
Relax and enjoy the scenic beauty while learning about local history.
Parade Information
Start Time: 10:00 a.m. sharp
Route: Begins at the turn from East Street onto East Montello Street, proceeds through downtown along West Montello Street, and ends at City Hall and Sunset Drive.
Participants: Over 70 parade entries celebrating Montello’s community spirit

Activities
Over 20 local vendors including craft booths, farmers market stalls, food trucks, and drink vendors.
Montello Little League and Rustic Saloon will serve food and beverages.
Holliday Shopping Center celebrates its 55th anniversary with store specials and family-friendly activities.
All events at City Park are free, thanks to generous local sponsors.

Detours
To ensure safety during the parade: Hard Road Closures: In effect from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; no traffic permitted on closed streets.

Parking & Shuttle Service
Shuttle Service Recommended Parking: Montello High School (222 Forest Lane)
Morning Shuttle Times: 9:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m.
Drop-Off Location: Near the waterfalls by Kwik Trip
Return Shuttle: After the parade; the driver will provide return details upon drop-off.
