The Westfield Forensics team performed at the district competition held Monday, March 3, at DeForest High School. Fourteen entries advanced to the state competition to be held at UW-Madison on Saturday, April 12. Those students are Samuel Shirley in Demonstration; Ross Dahlke in Extemporaneous Speaking; Lindsay Lechner in Four Minute Speaking; Tess Radtke in Poetry; Belle Roberts in Solo Acting Serious; Taylor Olstadt in Solo Acting Humorous; Cortney Runnels in Oratory; Ana Lovas in Oratory; Brianna Zajda in Storytelling; Hunter Cummngs and Cameron Marshall in Group Interpretive; Spencer Cuff and Nick Egglston in Radio Speaking; Kaity Weishaar in Moments in History; Emma Wagner in Special Occasion.
Samuel Shirley earned a perfect score of 25 in one of the three rounds and Cortney Runnels earned a perfect score of 25 in two of the three rounds.
